Hello all my followers. I have divided my blog posts out to several different blogs based on posting topics. It did not seem right to have a blog post about Homeschooling one day and then the next day have a blog post about being a Survivor of Abuse all on the same blog. Continue reading
Sometime in this last week. I was talking with my five year old. I had mentioned my crock pot in a conversation and he wanted to know what that was. I was surprised he did not know what a crock pot was. But as I thought about it, I really have not used my crock pot in a long time. Continue reading
So I have declared Thursday as Moms day off. Why? Because Thursday is the one day I am not running crazy busy ALL day, just PART of the day. So, no, I do not really get the whole day off. But I try to take some time in the day for me. Today in the middle of the day I sent my kids off to play, had the house to myself, and I could not think of what to do, just for me. I kept almost starting to-do tasks, or working on projects. I kept having to remind myself that I was taking a break. I relaxed, caught up on some blogs, wanted to blog some new posts… But my brain seemed blocked and could not blog. So now…. I have stayed up several hours after bed time blogging about all the things I wanted to do on my day off. Ah well… Best laid plans… I had fun blogging, and, I did spend some time not doing any important tasks, just taking a break, so that was good.

In the past I have blogged about my to-done’s so that I can feel a sense of accomplishment. Instead of feeling frustrated at all I did not do. Continue reading

We have been very happy with her and with the steady improvements in my daughters reading. Continue reading
I'm a walking collage of loud laughing, frizzy strawberry brown hair, bright blue eyes, running craziness, redeemed brokenness, persevering faithfulness, brave boldness, yet striving to lessen all that in order to reflect more Christlikeness. I want to bear His image in all my ways- always. Every day. Lover of sweet tea and big books. Third culture kid. Has more passport stamps than shoes. Daughter, big sister, and friend. Speak out for freedom. Voice for those who have yet to find theirs. Lover of hurting, healing hearts.
